Headlining the Sydney auction on May 3 is the spectacular ex-Maharajah of Bharatpur 1931 Horch Cabriolet.
This fascinating car was presented to Robert Gove of Victoria from the Maharajah in exchange for horses!
The Gove family supplied the Maharajahs with horses of all kinds – Polo mounts, race horses and many thousands of horses for the Indian – known as Walers.
With its colourful and exotic history, B & G suggests this car would be ideal for preparation for the world’s top concours events including The Pebble Beach Concours in California.
